Our school services a wide rural area centred upon the village of Ebor on the Waterfall Way.
The NSW Department of Transport offers tax free Private Vehicle Conveyance (PVC) payment subsidies to parents or carers for all eligible students. See our school office for details and PVC application forms.
Ebor Public School's local student area includes:
- West from the dog ramp cattle grid on the Waterfall Way halfway between Ebor and Wollomombi, back to Ebor including all of Tanner's Road and all side roads
- East on the Waterfall Way from Coutts Water, all the left hand side of the Waterfall Way including all of Montrose Loop Road and all left hand side roads
- South from the intersection of Armidale Road and Waterfall Way and back to Ebor, both sides of the Waterfall Way and all side roads, including Ellesmere Road
- South from Wongwibinda to Ebor including all of Old Ebor Road and all side roads.
If you live within our local area your child has priority enrolment at Ebor Public School. Small schools are great schools!
Getting to and from school safely
As a parent or carer, it’s your responsibility to get your child to and from school safely. Student safety is our priority.
Keep our school community safe by:
- driving and parking safely, even if it means parking further away and walking the rest of the way to school
- being a good role model
- never calling your child from across the road
- using the safest place to cross the road.
For parents and carers of younger children
Discuss with your child how to be safe when:

- plans for when unexpected things happen
- what to do in wet weather.
Subsidised school travel
Transport for NSW provides subsidies to assist school students.
- The School Student Transport Scheme provides eligible students with free or subsidised travel on public transport between home and school.
- The School Drive Subsidy may help towards the costs of driving children to school if you live in an area where there is no public transport.
